Instructions

There are many sites on the internet that offer free graphics for use on a website. Locate one of these sites and find a button or tab design you would like to use in this assignment. I recommend using something like Buttonator.

Create a multipage website that uses tables for the pages layout. The homepage of your site should be titled index.html, the names of the other pages are your choice. This site should be setup as a personal promotion site for yourself where the homepage (index.html) includes some basic information about you and why you are creating the site (personal promotion). You should also create an "About me" page that should just be about you, what you can do, what you want to do, etc. You can also add additional pages to the site, some ideas would be linking to your menu from lab three as the start of a portfolio, or linking to your resume. If you do link to and include previous labs make sure that the old lab is modified to match the layout of the new pages that are created for this lab.

The table used on each page for the layout can be setup in whatever way you think is best/most interesting but should include at least cells for the following:

  • A Title/Banner cell that spans the entire table/page
  • A column that contains links to the other pages in the site where the button/tab images you selected are used for the links
  • A main content cell that contains the content for that page
  • A footer cell that contains the usual copyright info and whatever else you'd like.

Colors should be used to make the page as nice looking as possible. Which colors you use are up to you.
