When you get to the Select Packages step of the installer you'll need to select the + (plus sign) next to Devel to expand the development tools category.

Next, click the skip label next to gcc-core, gcc-g++, gdb, and make.

Clicking the skip label will turn off skip, selecting those packages to be installed.

Continue the install until complete from this point.
