Download the MySQL Server
Step 1
Begin by going to the MySQL.com website. Find the downloads section of the website and select the Community Server for download.
There will be several download options available. Choose the one that has a DMG extension and goes with your version of OSX. You'll next have to choose which mirror to download from and then the download should begin.
